Greetings,
I am a strong Visual Design professional, with years of experience in Design Management, Content Marketing and Collaborative Design. I am skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Print Design, User Interface Design, Motion Graphics and Marketing Strategy.
I am currently active within AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and United Ad workers, so I'm consistently learning and keeping up to date with industry standards. I have completed highly respected programs such as Americorps and The Commons: Leadership Accelerator (Class of 2020). I am also a multiple National award winner, for my participation and leadership in the 2019-20 Milwaukee Area Technical College Newspaper, serving as the organization's Art Director. These opportunities enable me to stay humble, consistently grow and never lose focus.
I am an alumni of the MKE Fellows initiative, which greatly supports a strong pipeline of young, African-American male college graduates ready to return to Wisconsin to excel in their careers, build wealth, and become engaged leaders. Through opportunity and access, I am aiming to further my education and use my skills to help to bridge divides and fulfill needs in my community.
When I'm not designing, I like to spend my time invested in anything superhero-related. I am a huge fan of comics and their ability to visually communicate to a variety of audiences, through different forms of communication and media. I also enjoy using my time to give back to my community. Each month, I volunteer for an impactful organization in my community such as the Fellowship Open, the Sojourner House, and the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
